Students of classes VII to X celebrated ‘Raksha Bandhan beyond the family’ at the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) unit Khanapur. Staff and students of KLSPS feel privileged to celebrate this occasion with CRPF Jawans. With the idea of instilling a sense of pride for our soldiers among the students right from the early age, KLSPS organized an activity, ‘Building new ties of trust beyond the family – Iss Rakhi par bandho, ek naya bandhan’, The objective of the activity was to acknowledge the role and the sacrifices of the CRPF Jawans through a warm gesture of tying Rakhi’s on the wrist of the jawans.
The students of classes I to V visited the Hope recovery center, Peeranwadi and tied rakhis to the inmates. The students showed their love & care towards inmates. It was indeed a heart throbbing and emotional moment.
The students of Pre KG have celebrated Raksha Bandhan in Belagavi at ward No. 3, Rani Channmma Nagar. The objective of the activity is to acknowledge the role and the contribution of Pourakarmikas who are cleanliness soldiers in the real sense, through a warm gesture of tying Rakhis. We need to teach children out of the text and value education, character building comes only with experience. We need to appreciate, respect and thank the pourakarmikas’ efforts in keeping the city environs clean. With the idea of instilling a sense of brotherhood for people who help us among the students right from the early age, we thought this is an esteemed way to celebrate Raksha Bandhan. This initiative stands as a heartfelt gratitude to the services of pourakarmikas.
